Design for Manufacturing

We consider manufacturing in all stages of a design. Why bother designing something if it can’t be built easily and cheaply, both for low and high volume applications? We ensure designs are manufacturable by only using electrical components that are readily available, considering alternative parts when possible. We follow layout rules that allow both current and older pick-and-place machines to be used to their fullest potential, and we make sure boards are testable on the manufacturing floor by building in functional test support.
