Odic is an authorized consultant for the Atmel AVR series 8-bit processors, which means that we have all the tools and expertise required to design products based on the entire range of AVR processors.

See our portfolio for examples of designs we have completed using AVR processors.  We have used AVR processors in many portable, battery powered devices as well as benchtop devices that run off AC power.  They are low cost and consume low power, yet are very powerful little processors.  The AVR family ranges from 8-pin devices with 1K Flash and 64 bytes of RAM up to 64-pin devices with 128K Flash and 4K of RAM.

If you have heard of the PIC line of processors from Microchip Technologies, you definitely need to know the AVR series from Atmel.  AVR processors are better than PIC processors by several benchmarks, including a more efficient core (less CPU cycles per math or processing operation) and superior in-circuit programmability options.
